Dammeron
My friends and family are now looking at me funny because I have just very publically exclaimed: "Holy ****!!!" in reaction to that AMAZING miniature. I am particularly enamoured of your use of the classic Hive Tyrant barbed strangler barrel. Truly inspirational work.

FishSpit
dude...you rock! only one criticism, the storm bolter on his fist looks extremely out of place and kinda seems tacked on at the last minute...it would be cool if it blended more, but the model is otherwise one of the best i have seen in a long time. Thanks for the comment - the bolter was planned all along, as I wanted to have the option of giving him some ranged gear. Perhaps the reason it looks a bit out of place is the bright red colour? This was an difficult issue, because originally it was black, but I felt it needed to stand out more, because the model is so covered in green and brown tones. I made the decision to pick out the bolter and the glaive shaft with a bit of red, which I think produces a better result than more dark, earthy colours would have. Perhaps the bolter could do with some highlight though. I would just add that the red is Scab Red, and looks duller in real life than these photos, which had a lamp shined on the model.
