Are you highlighting up from the wash? if you are then you'll be able to cover it then, otherwise i the only thing i can think of is to give him a coat of matt varnish Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/149612-pedro-kantor/#findComment-1740801 Share on other sites
Reyner
Looking good ;) Am I the only one who doesn't like the scuplt of the power fist? The fingers look pretty small and stubbly ;) Also, how bits does this guy come in? It is MATT right? Am I the only one who doesn't like the scuplt of the power fist? The fingers look pretty small and stubbly Also, how bits does this guy come in? I quite agree, the detail is a bit too much on the fist, there's a lot on a small area. Pedro comes in 5 parts: Legs/torso, Storm bolter arm, Head, Backpack, Banner, (and a 25mm slotta base) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/149612-pedro-kantor/#findComment-1741100 Share on other sites
Brother Richard
Great choice to rebase... the varnish is 'matte' but then it is tough to paint over. I had the same problem when I recently blue inked a crimson fist sergeant. Shiny dark blue was hard to get toned down, it took several coats of regal glaze to bring it back in line with the rest of the squad, ink is in the trash now. I like the attention to detail in your painting. Looking good.
