Skoby
Not the first to post one of these (almost tho) but since I saw the image of Vladimir Pugh (page 52 of codex ~at least its probably him) I wanted to convert a model for my fists army. At first I eyed up my black reach captain as they are similar but when looking for 2 hammers I found an almost perfect model for the conversion, it is almost identical height and proportions too (haven't got a scale image atm but its literally 1-1.5mm shorter head-helmet) and I am planning on adding something to the soles of his boots and having him on good scenery to give hima more imposing view. This is one of my first major greenstuff conversions and it isn't finished yet (seeing the pics I just kicked myself for getting thumb prints on the heraldry shield) I am proud of the fist for his iron halo tho. Also sorry for quality of pics, I will be building one of the reflection boxes detailed in the tutorial soon and will post better pics then  http://img171.imageshack.us/img171/2143/pughpo3.png http://img219.imageshack.us/img219/5671/pugh2ls0.png http://img227.imageshack.us/img227/2468/pugh3dk9.png http://img293.imageshack.us/img293/319/pugh4fa5.png Again I'm sorry only the first picture is properly focused, will try to get better pics done tomorrow. BrotherZaah
It looks good, nice conversion, but he's wielding what? Power mallets? Thunder (toffee) hammers? Dont get me wrong, it's nicely converted, just, the hammers are a bit small... Skoby
It's not the size, it's what you do with it(them). Seriously tho if you look at the pic in the book then they are pretty much to scale. Also I was thinking considering 2 thunderhammers is so expensive having them as a counts as relic "blade" or as a single thunderhammer (2 half sized ones = one normal one :P). I did have 2 larger hammers lined up but there was more hammer than marine lol Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/150020-vladimir-pugh/#findComment-1742946 Share on other sites

Skull_Lord
imo the legs and hammers are too small, especially the legs, i mean, they are from a WHFB Empire priest! (like hammers and head?) But everything else looks a lot like the pic in C:SM Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/150020-vladimir-pugh/#findComment-1743125 Share on other sites
rosac
please say you will be usin marine legs... the warrior priests legs are simply too short for a space marine. i do like the hammers though, and the torso, so keep it up! rosac Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/150020-vladimir-pugh/#findComment-1743128 Share on other sites
Heru
Bigger legs are definetly required. Everything else though looks great (even the Hammers). Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/150020-vladimir-pugh/#findComment-1743133 Share on other sites
Lord Lucius
I pretty much agree with everyone else. The hammers are great and to scale in the pic but you really need to use space marine legs! other than that it is awesome Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/150020-vladimir-pugh/#findComment-1743201 Share on other sites
Skoby
I was hoping noone would say anything about the legs :) I noticed it myself but thought could be me being too fussy. I have left the legs pretty plain thinking that I might have to remove them. Fortunately I havent pinned the arms and the cape will be relatively easy to remove, just need to get hold of a hobby saw (I used clippers to remove the arms lol) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/150020-vladimir-pugh/#findComment-1743777 Share on other sites
