WarpSpawn
See page 53, under the heading of "Shooting". They may fire one weapon for each rider. Captain Malachi
Quick related question, what if you use a converted attack bike that only has one rider, does that mean that by RAW you can only fire one weapon? WarpSpawn
Quick related question, what if you use a converted attack bike that only has one rider, does that mean that by RAW you can only fire one weapon? I'd say no, if nothing else on the basis that the BRB lists SM attack bikes a a specific example of a bike with 2 riders. The new SM codex at least does not really confirm or dispute this, so I'd say it still stands even if you do an oddball conversion. Stormcaller3801
I would imagine that's one of those places where 'counts as' is an important thing: you go according to the model you're replacing. If a custom attack bike with only one rider can only fire one weapon, then the opposite would be true as well, assuming there's something out there where there's more weapons than riders on the stock model. Say, an Ork biker that has the Dakkagun and a rider with a hand weapon- if you model the Dakkagun to be crewed by a grot, would you allow it to be fired as well (at BS3)? Probably not. Praeger
How the model is modeled makes no difrence. You go by the original stats of the vehicle, so it can fire each weapon. Remeber - when it comes to rules IGNORE the fluff. Remeber - when it comes to rules IGNORE the fluff. That was exactly my problem though, the rules say "rider", which is entirely about how it is modelled, right? In this case, as warpspawn pointed out, the rules say an attack bike has 2 riders, but I'm sure there are other examples.
