Brother Mord
I don't know if people like these types of threads but I do. We have a sticky for the Emperors Champion but I haven't seen anything similar for vehicles or characters/HQ ect... So I decided to start this thread in hopes of seeing other guys work, Im going to start work on my Black Reach Dread soon and I like to see other ideas on decoration I can steal, err, copy so. Here is my only Templar dreadnought (my namesake). I have the other sets of arms I can swap out on him as the plastic arms fit well without gluing on. I tend to run the assault cannon most of the time now.

james.
Love the dreadnought, great job you've done on it! It's only right we show off our most hallowed of brethren! http://i531.photobucket.com/albums/dd354/Jamesthegreatest/dreadnought1.jpg http://i531.photobucket.com/albums/dd354/Jamesthegreatest/dreadnoughreverse.jpg

Von Richthofen
My Dreads, I am working on Venerable and ideas for Ironclad. I think you need "Dreadnought-Chaplain Thorvald, Guardian of the Fallen" to lead those bad boys in an Apoc. game...

Mordekiem
Not a great picture, but shows some of the special stuff I have done on my old metal dread. I have more dreads, but this is the only one that is painted. http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s118/Mordekiem/The%20Black%20Watch/Dreadnaught-1.jpg
SkullBob
All these dreads are really nice. I love these kind of threads because they always seem to give me ideas on what I can do with my dreads. You know once I actually start to get them painted. Morte
My own much loved dreadnought http://i377.photobucket.com/albums/oo219/lifetime05/DSC04367.jpg http://i377.photobucket.com/albums/oo219/lifetime05/DSC04368.jpg Probably the first vehicle I've actually painted, discounting a horrible experiment with a Fire Prism when I was 13. Baffy
Just a question VR, those extra armour thingys you've made are those based on cut up old style IG dozerblades? Looks similar and fit very well.

Brother DjoulZ
Hi, I want to point out that THIS IS NOT MY DREADNOUGHT ! But it is so incredible that I took the liberty of posting the link to the original post. Beware, put something under your jaw, as it's likely to drop off when seeing the pics. Also, don't forget to breathe. Enjoy THIS BEAUTY ! Cheers !

Also, don't forget to breathe. Enjoy THIS BEAUTY ! Cheers ! I don't really like it. I love the work he's done with the open sarcophagus but the dread itself looks very cluttered and the paint job doesn't help. It might actually be part of the painter's intention to create a dreadnought that looks like a walking altar though. Fantastic model, just not in my personal taste. Baffy
This is my dread, it's a severe case of WIP and it has stood like this for years. This summer i finished the modelling and started to paint it but i never got around to finish it so i have no photos with colours on them. Hope you can enjoy it never the less. http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h85/gabaff/wip/dread_frontright.jpg
