The Watcher in the Dark, looks great I think. JetfireUK Posted November 4, 2008 Share Posted November 4, 2008 Hi there! I love this model and really should get around to painting mine! As for critique on your figure, I think that you've made a good start but the following might help? The edge highlights appear a little thick (for instance the top of the backpack) and you could make these finer by using less paint on your brush and watering it down slightly. I'd also dry brush another colour on the basing for the watcher in the dark as it closely matches the colour of the robes and a lighter/different highlight colour would help to distinguish base from robes. I really like your reds as they appear very vibrant and don't look orange or pink from highlighting. The bone on the backpack also looks well done. I hope that helps?
