Vires Ferrarius - Warp Runners Warhound + Reaver Titans

It looks fantastic. The metals and the blue look really smooth. But Ganuus is right, something needs to balance out the yellow. I'm not sure what it is, whether you need more or less yellow elsewhere on the model... But if you can figure that out it'll be pretty much perfect.
That was the shot I've been waiting for. It looks ace, man. Though I would have to say do something to even out the yellow balance. Make something on it's left yellow, or repaint the Plasma Blaster. I just think that it makes it off, and takes away from the head.

did a test fit with the paper banners

enough compensation?

May I request on how you did the yellow? I am going to be painting a tad, and I'm in search for the easiest/best way to paint it! Thanks!

white undercoat. 1-2 layerrs of yellow ink followed by 1-2 layers of vallejo bad moon yellow

cheers =)

Nice work :) How was the fit & amounts of flash on the model? I've got one of these badboys here and one whole side was out by a massive 30mm, i can only put it down to some numpty at forgeworld not letting it cure fully before removing from the mold.... makes me wanna go down there and commit murders. whats the diameter of the base btw? i've just ordered one @ 13'' hopeing it'll be good.

one more thing... what have you done with the eyes? / windows on the thing? are they in, i can't really tell. i'm thinking to try and tint mine a rich yellow colour so anyone who can advise of a technique for this, i'd be gratefull

the quality of the molds ad the fits was perfect

only the head was slightly warped but that could be cured with water easily...

i dont really know how big the base is but i think it's 30cm diameter

i will check the length when i get home later and tell you in inches

I glued the windows in... to achieve a translucent yellow window effect i would recommend to print yellow color with on the see-through paper... i tried to color mine with inks/washes but it didnt work so I just let them clear...

Tamiya do a rang of translucent colours which might be worth looking into for the windows, not sure if they do a yellow though. :P

Oh and great looking titan tagsta, really makes me want to get one. :P

With a miscast like that you need to call Forge World customer service... ask for Simon. Calling from the US you would dial 011441159168177. Not all cells go international but it works on mine. You can also e-mail them with a pic of the miscast part (again attn Simon K.) and they should take care of it. I have been buying from them since 2000 and they really will make it right.

the Scrolls on the carapace will bear the following verse once finished:

From the weakness of the mind, Omnissiah save us,

From the lies of the Antipath, circuit preserve us,

From the rage of the Beast, iron protect us,

From the temptations of the Fleshlord, silica cleanse us,

From the ravages of the Destroyer, anima shield us,

From this rotting cage of biomatter, Machine God set us free.

- Chants of the Journeyman, Verse III/w-k-03
