So I managed to get a tiny bit of painting done... Just the fine detail stuff. I think I can mark this one as done... There aren't any Inquisitorial markings, but I'm not sure of how I'd want to do those quite yet. The pictures are dark because the light is on it...I might take a couple more in the day time with the sun behind me. So that you can tell that its not completely black, the light gray cruiser/grand is right next to it. ...I don't even know what to class that thing as. And I repainted the other Rogue ship. My original plans for the night were to finish this. But I ended up going cosmic bowling at 10 to 1AM, then went to play tennis in a skate park until 3AM. (The 3 tennis courts we went to's lights wouldn't turn on, and the skate park we were driving by had some on) I basically used Dark Angels green and Sunburst yellow for the whole thing. Its a bit lime-y, but I think its much better than the original gray. I may go over it with a really light coat of Dark Angels green again, to make it more deep. Do maybe a couple of comms 'towers' or something - command and control centres spaced along the spine of the ship. Extreme air bubbles and lack of detail. The middle is the new plastic version, with a hint of blue wash over it for detail purposes. Much better! I've tried this on the bridge piece and some other large pieces, no luck. I'll work on it some more. The chest is basically done, as is his leg. The hammer wings are about half way. The armor is Commander Culln's from Forgeworld. Yes, this is a Lambda class shuttle, which most dignitaries in the Empire in Star Wars ride in. Notably the Emperor and Darth Vader. Episode 6, when the Emperor visits the D Star and such. They're pretty fragile...And it takes me a good while to get the wings the right shape... I made 3, so I can use it as a template. Although people don't always comment I say keep up the great work! You've got some damn cool stuff and the newest Star Wars additions are pretty darn neat. Got any X-Wings planned? Or A-wings! Tons of BFG going on over there too. ;) I was thinking of adding some Alliance ships as well (maybe even more than that too) because I don't think I'll be able to mass produce any of these ships like the Empire do... Was definitely looking at the X-wings and B-wings and most likely ARC-170s as well. The A-wing would hopefully be simple, but we'll see when I get there. :) Y-wings are on the market as well.
