Those guys are Brilliant(as always) although i see they are still fighting on the hellish world of "shredded coconut IV" :D

the sternguard Sgt is my favourite by far!,are they forgeworld purity seals on the melta guy standing next to the Sgt?

cheers Mithril

Looking good as always and a good use of the metals and plastics to make a pretty cohesive looking unit. My only gripe is the marine with the melta that has gold shoulder trim, I think he looks a bit daft when the rest of the unit has veteran white trim.

It's a Red Scorpion pad from Forgeworld with the icon filed off if I'm not mistaken. I had them on every marines almost in my own army.

are you the guy in september 2009 White dwarf?
GASP! You ARE in white Dwarf!!! I bow before you.

James is featured in several White Dwarfs and the Apocalypse books and several other Games Workshop publications.

Since the thread has been revived, I'll just say, they look great as always James! And I hope you'll do a second Forgeworld Ultramarine Venerable, as the first looks great but lonely!

I love the blue on the white bases. It REALLY makes the models stand out, and the white on the shoulders/helmets is a good contrast to the models themselves.

You've always had great work. Keep it up! You inspire us!

Absolutely gorgeous - I much prefer the darker blue look.

Have you thought about increasing the size of the drill bit used on the barrels of the Melta Guns? It looks a bit diddy (1.5 to 2mm might be nice); very minor point though :D.
