Skoby
From what I've experienced once rhinos dump their troops they tend to be pretty much totally ignored, if I was to do a last minute dash with them to get within 3" of an enemy objective, they would count as contesting right? I've never seen anyone do this yet, but for 35 points they are the cheapest "unit" in our list and with 12" movement providing I understand the rules right, I think this could work out as a great tactic and adds an even better use for an otherwise one trick pony. So just checking by "unit" there is nothing excluding dedicated transports? cause this seems like a little bit of a cheap tactic, but with a planned 3-4 rhinos/razorbacks in my armylists, played right then this could give the opponent quite a suprise. dvdhwk
Yep a dedicated transport is a non-scoring unit. So it can contest, though not claim an objective. I've both won and lost many games that way.
