tofunbob
I recently sold my old Ultramarines army, but I still have this weird compulsion to paint smurfs. So here's the first member of my first company army: Edit: oh yeah, I forgot there's eventually going to be snow on the base so that's why it looks kinda barren. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3233/3008543655_c43e805764.jpg?v=0 http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3003/3009379940_f6dfff1cf4.jpg?v=0 http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3004/3008542859_8cbddd9892.jpg?v=0 Like it? Don't? Let me know before I paint a bunch more of these guys. Thanks! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/151530-first-ultramarine/ Share on other sites
FastEd
The black lining on the helm is a wee bit heavy, and the highlights being that bright make it look a little busy, but it is certainly a good looking mini/paint overall. Profound
I can't tell on my screen if the gun is gold or brown, but either way it looks wonderful! The pose is well done and while he is adorned with all sorts of trinkets of battle valor and other battlefield items it's not over done and looks very nice. As for painting more, if you had fun painting it then well, your doing something right. HIMSA
Thin the white, but other than that, it's very effective. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/151530-first-ultramarine/#findComment-1764146 Share on other sites
