Vissah
That is some proper painting skill you got there mate. You have to post the whole army now when you finished lol
brother Hastatus
Wow! I really like the blue - I think UMs look far better with dark blue armour, like you have done here. I also like the white hair on Sicarius. Looks better than brown hair. And they're both amazing models anyway, I think.
wiplash
superb painting as usual spiky :P never realised how chunky sicarius' armour is!
JetfireUK
Very nice. I also agree that the Ultramarines look grittier with a darker blue armour. I like both figures but Sicarius is my favourite of the two - the white hair suits him especially considering the amount of battles he has fought. The snow bases are fitting too. spikyjames
Thanks all ;) I've made a drop pod for the dreadnought using one of the new GW pods, it's a bit on the small side but it';; do for now(i'll probably end up using for a thunderfire cannon) pics a bit on the dark side sorry, but you get the idea http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d42/spikyjames/Ultramarines/103_3222.jpg cheers james
chaplainmikey
WOW,those really are something else! I'm loving the darker more subtle blues you've used, really gives them a sense of realism and makes them fir the grim nature of the 40k fluff. The bases work so well with the models, the snow just sits brilliantly against the blue. The banner on the dread is brilliant, the freehand is brilliant as is the Tyranid warrior corpse! Amazing work!
