Slaanesh Daemon Prince build

My two favorite chaos gods are by far Slaanesh and Tzeentch and I've been working on a mono god list for both of them. One unit I love the idea of in a Slaanesh list is Daemon Princes and I've been trying to think of a way to equip them for some time now. Well today a build just hit me that seems like it could work, tell me what you think

Daemon Prince of Chaos - 180 Pts

Mark of Slaanesh, Iron Hide, Transfixing Gaze, Pavane of Slaanesh, Daemonic Gaze

I think this set up will work perfectly. Most people seem to go right for daemonic flight on princes but for a unit that deep strikes it seems really expensive. Pavane offers an interesting twist on this. I think of it as basically being fleet but they move closer to you instead of the other way around. Now thinking of it like that what's one thing you can't do when fleeting? Why shooting of course. However since a MC can shoot two weapons I can pavane them closer and still fire gaze and charge. So it's like fleeting towards them still getting to soften them up with a shooting attack and assault. It also provides a lot of flexibility. On the turn it arrives it can pull unit out of cover then shoot them, it can move them closer to friendly models wishing to charge and soften them up a bit with gaze, and it can gaze a unit while moving it off an objective etc. I'm sure there are many situations it will come in handy. Lastly when it charges I can arrange the squad with the pavane as I wish so I can bring say a hidden fist out front and contact it to minimize the attacks with transfixing gaze, minimizing the damage I take in combat and in most cases I'll be going first too. best of all 180 points seems pretty reasonable.

What do you guys think of this set up?

You make a good point, but I've never really been impressed by pavane on princes, mainly because, as you say, you're basically paying 30 points for the ability to fleet, but it doesn't always work, and you can't use it to fleet into combat with non-walker vehicles.

With only T5 he can be hurt by basic weapons and 180 points is a lot to lose to just bolters.

I'm really not a fan of Slaaneshi DPs, they get too expensive for too soft a model. If you're dead set on one, Iron Hide and Sopoforic Musk are probably your best bets. Keep it cheap and choppy and you should be fine.
