Plague_Spreader1983
Hi Guys, Noob question, but needs to be asked as I can find it hinted at but not answered (that I can find) A Plague Marine comes equipped with a Bolter, Bolt Gun and CCW. Does this mean he can shoot his bolt gun as normal, and when in CC change to the bolt pistol and CCW gaining +1 Attack? Or is it purely WYSIWYG and if there is no bolt pistol modeled then they're stuck at just 1 attack? Since it specifies in the codex that you get all 3 weapons I worked under the assumption that they switch weapons in closr combat, but its better to ask than assume. Also, does it actually state rules for this anywhere as I haven't really played 40k since 3rd ED. JamesI
They can fire their boltguns, and still fight in close with the pistol/ccw combo. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/152422-bolter-ccw-and-bolt-pistol/#findComment-1775417 Share on other sites
Mal
Ok, since ALL chaos marines have these 3 weapons you do not need to model them ALL on to each and every model, personally I have a couple fo specials, a couple with bolters, and a couple with CCW/pistol in every unit. As for how to use them, you can either rapid fire your boltguns and wait t be charged (the prefered PM method) then use pistol/CCW in combat, or fire boltpistol and charge using CCW/pistol in combat (the prefered khornite method).
