Decoy
Okay, it's a bit of a vanity post. However, I'm moving to the Boston area (Newtonville, to be precise.) I was curious if there were any brother-Wolves out that way, perhaps willing to be a guide for a game or two hundred? Anyone willing and able to help a wolfbrother out? Maybe we can find a good doubles game to throw down on, and slaughter those that stand before us, eh? Grab some ale afterwards at Asgards. Bran Scalphunter
Hey! It's Decoy! He's still alive! *runs over to give Decoy a big wolfhug* Unfortunately, I'm operating out of Western Massachusetts, so I doubt I'm of much help. B) Unless you start showing up around Westfield, I doubt I'll be playing many games against ya. If I were closer by I'd take ya up on the offer, just that I'd sub ale out for something more age-appropriate like Mug or Vault... I like Vault *twitch* Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/152441-any-wolves-in-the-boston-area/#findComment-1775681 Share on other sites
Decoy
Hey there, Bran. Aye, I'm still kickin'. The sight of the new C:SM and it's contents brought me back, not out of the power of them, but the desire to eat them. Well, it's not a hugely impractical drive out that way, so long as it'd be a nice, daylong event where we can kill a bunch of folk. Besides. Us 13th are not unknown to wander great distances to bring justice to the foes of the Emperor and Russ! Bran Scalphunter
If I hear about anything big going on around here in Western MA I'll be sure to drop a Warp-line to you Decoy, to let you know how the Silverfangs are holding up out here. Till we meet or the Wolf-Time! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/152441-any-wolves-in-the-boston-area/#findComment-1775709 Share on other sites
Ullr Direfang
well i am from southern new hampshire and there are a couple others in that area. the last time i was gaming near boston it was the fantasy 'ard boyz in west barnstable and they seemed a little afraid that i might show up to so the true force of the emperor. i like heading to boston as much as possible but it was never to game. if i remember correctly you will have more then your fair share of places to try out (i have heard that some of them are the crap shoot thought) and if you want i will try to find the places i have heard are good to game. my home town is about an hour north of you with no traffic so there is out. sadly i go to school in maine so i wont even be around to try and meet up with you. but if there is ever some big thing going on i will try to let you know, or the other way around and maybe we could meet up to pour on the hurt wolf style. Grimfoe
@Ullr & Bran, Let me know if you have any tourneys or other interesting games in place. I'm from eastern NY, about 1/2 hour from Pittsfield. Thanks. DragonPup
There are a few Space Wolf players among the Arvard Ard Boyz. I am actually building up a small force of Wolves myself(albeit at a glacial pace...). We meet up Thursday evenings at Pandemonium Books in central square, Cambridge. Decoy
Holy damn, Dragonpup. I was there this past Thursday, the 13th Company guy that pounded on some Dark Angels. (Report coming soon.) Everyone was prepping for the doubles tourney for Fantasy this weekend, though, unfortunately... I look forward to two Thursdays from now. I'm curious as to what everyone else has. Brother SRM
I'm in the Boston area, right near Allston. I play at Pandemonium books & games, they've got 40k night every Thursday. pandemonium's website There's a pretty big group of guys there, Thursday nights usually have half a dozen games going on. Also, great store with a friendly staff. If you can get off at Park Street on the T, you're really close to it. Hope to see you there! :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/152441-any-wolves-in-the-boston-area/#findComment-1781940 Share on other sites
