eyescrossed
It's a bit too simple a question, like what deployment type, etc. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/152548-deployment-question/#findComment-1777173 Share on other sites
Lord Captain Sam
I mean to I have to put them on the table at all? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/152548-deployment-question/#findComment-1777560 Share on other sites
NemoHac
I'll need to double check but I believe that reserves/infiltrating/deepstriking is the only way a model can avoid being placed on the table during the deployment phase. Also, if they are a dedicated transport then they deploy at the same time as their unit though the do not have to carry or be near the unit. Lord Captain Sam
Forgive my brevity, I was headed to the Ambien Zone. I played a 1850 game, in which I had 6 tanks on the board: 2 rhinos, 2 razorbacks, a pred and a LRR. It got cramped and I had a hard time getting out of my table quarter. Hence, if I could have stuffed the 2 rhinos it would have been better. WarpSpawn
If I'm understanding you right, I think keeping some in reserve would have been the answer then. You cannot simply not deploy them but reserves are not bound by the table quarters and can come on anywhere on your own table edge, as well as the possibility of outflanking if you have the relevant special rules. That should ease the conjestion somewhat. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/152548-deployment-question/#findComment-1777802 Share on other sites
Mordekiem
Do i have to deploy my transports? No, you can keep them in reserve in any of the standard 3 deployments. You then roll for them as regular reserves. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/152548-deployment-question/#findComment-1778366 Share on other sites
