Fenris table!

Hello Brothers!

Over the years i've been playing warhammer at my friends house on your average gaming board. You know green grass, hills, trees boringgggg  !. So i'm going on a quest to my local home depot to pick up some wood for my table :P. This time i will be fighting on my own hometurf of Fenris! my question to you, brothers, is how would i go about making a snowy board? I've got the standard snow covered trees and hills n such. But what else could i put on it that would really chill you to the genetically inhanced bone? I was thinking maybe a poor sap who froze to death in the snow. Any feedback would be great!

Thanks!

I have a Fenris table, I sprayed it Dark blue, and then laid down some paper and sprayed ice lines all over it, and snow patches.... amazing what you can do by just misting it too.... get lighter and dark blues. I used foam though, and cut off two feat afterwords to make into icebergs and hills and such. One side is mostly white, with some brown I added afterwords.... ie land.

The other side is Green, for fantasy and just other random games. Im considering doing this again, with one side black for BFG, and the other side done up as wartorn ground and city style rubble, so I can do some cool looking cityfight terrain.

my LGS in NH has a ice/snow planet, but it is alien... one can tell from the weird trees that are built on it.

*edit* (for some reason i keep thinking of stuff after tonight.) for a good way to get a not level snow feature, is to get flour ( i have even heard of using white frosting) and mixing in a lot of Elmer's glue. sounds weird but it looks really cool.

I would definitely like to see a frozen waterfall or a frozen river. I actually have wanted to make a snow world map for a long time. It sounds like you are putting trees in, so maybe pines and several bare branch birches. I think the frozen dead guy could make a nic addition. Oh, i heard that mixing baking soda with water, elmers glue, and a little acryclic blue paint (in tubes at Walmart, etc.) makes really good, cheap snow.
