Hey guys, while sculpting Hakanor I've been up to other projects (green stuff takes AGES to cure) and this is one I'm doing for painting competition this weekend!

First ever attempt at 'ambitious' freehand, weathering or battle damage!

Enjoy! Any and all comments welcome.

Looks pretty sweet. He looks like he's been fighting non-stop for the last decade with all the battle damage.

The only constructive criticism I have, is that the backpack looks a liitle too small. Maybe if you were to cut it in half lengthways you could widen it by adding plasti-card. And maybe lengthen it too doing the same.

I did consider enlarging the backpack, but then I looked at some heresy artwork and said to myself; "How could a marine swing his arm properly with a bigger backpack?", so I decided to leave it as it was! Plus I'm a lazy git! :D
