you may want to re-do the scales they look like they have finger prints in them, and there are very large, thick and round

more practice will yield a nicer result...also try looking at scales and how they work, it will give you a better idea as to how to sculpt them

idea is cool however

Alex

Looks good =-D When I saw the first side view, I thought he had sand bags on his shoulder =-D And when I saw the back, I thought it was an artichoke =-D

Compared to all the He'stans everyones doing, this one is different, the scales ACTUALLY look like scales! Instead of flat rocks on a piece of cloth =-D Keep it up!

Chaplian Silkor- Thanks, keep an eye out for updates.

Starks333- Yeah, I agree. I had planned on working on that though. The idea behind my approach is that anything that is considered a "cloak" that gives a +3 invul. save must be gigantic and thus wanted the cloak to seem overbaring. I've since shaved them down from the time posting, so maybe we'll see an update tonight.

Shortsonfire79- Haha, yeah. Thanks for the words though and keep one eye open.

If you want to forgo the cloak, remember that storm shields give a 3+ invul now. That's exactly what's going to be on my "counts as Vulkan."

Well, I did end up scraping the back when I had a stroke of genius. I decided to take a sheet of plastic card and cut out diamond shapes. I then filed down each side of it which took forever. I think the results are much better and saved me a lot of exacto cutting of putty. Still a WIP as always.

I'm really surprised by the Sonic comments. Especially from a design standpoint it is quite the opposite of Sonic's.

Either way, thanks for the comments everyone and I hope to work further on it tonight.

P.S. Thanks goes to terminatorinhell for the turtle inspiration. Thats what convinced me to change it when I got the idea.

Come on, it's neither a hedgehog, nor a pangolin. It reminds me more of a fir cone. But nonetheless, I like him very much. I'd find it cool, if you would add a skinned arm of the dragon with it's claw (or to of them), hanging in fron of the chest (or maybe hanging and going back up to the shoulder pad) to represent the chapter's name.

That is a cool idea!

this is an interesting concept you have here, it's just, well reminds me of this..................http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj1/De5tr0y3r/slash.jpg, if someone already hasn't stated this. great work on him though, are you gonna teach him dig or cut?

risK- I'm still working on the logo, so once that is done, i'll post it here.

Asmodeus' Swordhand- I was surprised that the flamers ended up so well myself. I didn't want to go the powerfist route but wanted it huge all the same.

ShotgunFacelift, Tabor. st.germaine, Hubernator- Thanks.

D35tr0y3r- To cut of course. To dig would be a cowardly technique.

I'll have a WiP shot up by tonight.
