Cpt_Lucifer
Hi, Long time paint section stalker, first time submitter... this is a test mini for an exiled nurgle warband. chaplainmikey
I really like it,looks nice and dirty in a subtle way. The colour of the armour is great, just the right tone for plague marines and i agree with Martok, the green trim is growing on me too. Muskie
Good idea using sand to cover up the eagle. I used a lot of sand on the early Diseased Sons. Most of them have been stripped but used judiciously sand + loyalists + chaos backpacks worked pretty well for the original diseased sons when metals were rare and plastic models were a pipe dream for Chaos. Terminatorinhell
those look really good, the painting is subtle , not over done like in some nurgle models, i especially like the green trim and the sand corrosion :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/153106-exiles/#findComment-1786000 Share on other sites
Cpt_Lucifer
Hey guys, really not touched these models in a very very long time but got them back out to continue the nurgleness! Have been playing around with some of the other models, I really enjoyed this paint scheme but takes a while to do... http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a317/el_torible/Death%20Guard%20WIP/DSCN0280.jpg http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a317/el_torible/Death%20Guard%20WIP/DSCN0283.jpg http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a317/el_torible/Death%20Guard%20WIP/DSCN0284.jpg These are not quite complete yet, my Bleached Bone went walkabouts :D but near enough. Gresiloth
I really like that Khaki colour of the armour. The green trim is nice too, if it was me I would definitely extend that on to the leg trim as well instead of the dark brown, it seems kind of strange having a different trim just for the shoulders. Hail Nurgle! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/153106-exiles/#findComment-2374927 Share on other sites
