Thanks for your time!

Overall well painted table top quality miniatures. My one gripe though is the eyes. I cannot do eyes (the non helmet ones) for sh*t, so i generally leave them out. If they are done wrong you give your marines bug eyes :P . I also think you should just get rid of the script on the chaplains loincloth. It takes away from the rest of the model.

Don't get me wrong, I am looking forward to more though.

Thank you for the compliment =)

Yeah, I had trouble with the script on the chaplain cloth. In hind sight, I should have done the cloth primarily in white. I have improved on my "Scripting" ability somewhat so technically I can go back over it with either white or perhaps a coat of pure bone white so that it stands out from the other bone parts of the model.

The other problem is that I am constantly changing my painting/highlighting method. So the army as a whole looks a bit "Hodge Podge". However, I do primer white then base coat blood red so other than the wash i happen to use, they all have basically a similar red across the board (The exception being the older 2nd and 3rd ed. models as they were done prior to my understanding of washes and highlights).

Also, so that everyone is aware, the sloppy looking wash is my way of trying to make my models look "Dirty" without making the guys look muddy. It is somewhat successful but you can definitely tell that I have problems with it looking like water stains.

As for the eyes, I can't do eyes consistently. My hands are not that steady (People around here call it "Old Man Hands") and so I often have problems with fine details. This also manifests itself on my edge highlighting. My way around it is to forgo with the Fiery red highlights and go with a mix 60/40 of blood red and fiery orange. Vallejo does make an in between color but I have yet to pick it up; I need to save me cash so I can get a new yellow. My Citadel (bad moon? sunburst? I forget) yellow dried itself out from years of under-use.
