Lorenzen
well i decided it was time to work on a dedicated command squad for belial for the gt final, and despite already having an apothecary model a new one was needed.. so without further ado (as im sure much like me you dont care much for the reasons and want to get to the pretty pictures) http://i224.photobucket.com/albums/dd199/typhion/apothecary.jpg c&c is welcome as always Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/153177-deathwing-apothecary/ Share on other sites
cathar the great
Looks good so far, but the robe makes him look a bit fat. The paint on armor and head is ace Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/153177-deathwing-apothecary/#findComment-1785038 Share on other sites
chaplainmikey
I actually really like the robes, carries on the great warrior-monk feel the DA have. The armours looking good and i like the red inside of the cloak. My only concern is that the white robes might blend with the bone coloured armour a little, but i bet i'm wrong once we see the finished model. Guber
The apothecary hand works really well. I would have thought it would be far too small, but it seems just right. Also, is he sporting a mohawk? I'm fairly sure they wouldn't approve at medical school  Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/153177-deathwing-apothecary/#findComment-1785062 Share on other sites
Lorenzen
i doubt medical school would approve of him carrying a thunder hammer more than the mohawk  atm my main concern with the robes is that when i do finish the model people might think that theyre still not done.. so i might make them closer to grey than white and add some red trim to them. ill be working on the armour before the robes anyway. so ill come to that hurdle in time. thanks for all the comments guys  Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/153177-deathwing-apothecary/#findComment-1785088 Share on other sites
Ganeos
The bone armour looks really great. I know this is WIP, but will the robes stay white? I just think that they should contrast a bit more against the armour. Nice conversion and pose, they look very good. Hope to see the finished model soon. Captain Mick
Really great painted armor and face. Robe makes him indeed abit fat-looking but that doesnt mean it isnt a great paint ;). Guber
i doubt medical school would approve of him carrying a thunder hammer more than the mohawk ^_^ I assumed it was a medical hammer. For facial deconstruction surgery for example :o Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/153177-deathwing-apothecary/#findComment-1785172 Share on other sites
