endless
Well, i'd suggest checking out The Great Crusade and maybe Pacific81 will give you some pointers. As far as models go, FW Mk IV, the Iron Warriors conversion kit from GW and the berserker helms will start you off. A personal plea, don't go nuts with the fake blood! Welcome to the Heresy! :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/153867-heresy-era-world-eaters/#findComment-1793880 Share on other sites
Aqatone
Indeed. Please don't go mad like everyone else with the blood. They weren't all mad in the head. ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/153867-heresy-era-world-eaters/#findComment-1793997 Share on other sites

battle captain corpus
During the Crusades the ethos of the World Eaters was to strike pure fear into their foes through always going one step further than they would have. The idea was to psychologically bruise the enemy before action even takes place. Someone had to do the gruesome work, and the World Eaters happened to just take it as part of their remit. Conversion wise, well the Black Templars sprue has some nice crusade like helms to choose from, as does the Iron Warriors bitz kit also. I'm a fan of using the MK6 "Beakie" helm, then filing down the sides to make a more knightly look. On this note its worth also looking at the WHFB range of Brettonian knights too. With a plethora of options of the sprues they have some great potential also. Happy hunting brother!
