Kor'Sarro Khan on Moondrakkon

Started a conversion for moondrakkon. I've used a scout bike as the base and the front of the master of the ravenwing jet bike... also the torso/body/exhuast pipes... its in the mid paint stage... any tips!? some have mentioned giving him a top knot or something..?? all the dark angle iconography has been taken away and changed to the white scars lightning strike...

It is an excellent conversion, but i feel that it need to be bigger/bulkier. I haven't seen the scout bikers in person, but is the wheelbase shorted than marine bikes? and the handle/bolter section looks rather plonked on top as it is: i think it need a good few mm cuttin off the bottom before being put back as it is and then the gaps filled with GS to make it look like a single unit. Or maybe cut some off and raise the MotRW front plate up a bit to give a bit more clearence around the front wheel. The second option would probably look better as i think my first suggestion would leave Khan poking out the top like an awkward thumb.

*Criticism hat off*

I don't think a top knot would look right, maybe long black hair and a moustache would do the trick instead? Paint the skin with a yellow-tan and he'll look very mongolian influenced. And did you GS the cape yourself? That's mighty impressive! And i think those exhausts look great on a normal bike. i don't understand why they are on the MotRW model: landspeeders don't have them and esentially a jetbike is just a small speeder.

And from the looks of the paint job so far i think you'll do him justice in the end!

Not too shabby. Not sure I like the Ravenwing "prow" on it though. Looks like a two-wheeled steamtank to me.

You might also want to explore the idea of making the Ravenwing bit parallel to the ground level. You see, if you look at it, it's sloped slightly downward toward the center of the bike. That line, when combined with the angle of the rear exhaust, makes it look like the bike is bowed in the middle from Khan's weight. Like a fat lady on a cartoon making the center of a bench sink, and all the people at the edges slide toward her.

Paint looks top-notch though.

Nice to see someone else doing this as well... I had initially done something similar when I started out with my bike, but realised that while the prow is streamlined, putting it on a small body like a bike makes it look very stumpy. I ended up redesigning the whole body, lengthening it.

By the looks of things the main bike body is in the middle with the rear section+exhausts lengthened and the prow sitting slightly further forward than on Richies's version. The back of it looks a bit odd though, maybe have the rear wheel as a track, like on the old ork bikes?
