whitewolfmxc
Yes the writing is kind misleading for the age issues , but who cares . Both of them are awesome ! ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR PS: Im surprised no one brought up the fact that Bjorn the fell handed is older than Logan XD Dante ? a Kid compared XD Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/154096-the-old-wolf/page/2/#findComment-1798433 Share on other sites
Balroth
The fluff where he outfought the eldar in a hit and run style battle was where I got the impression he was sitting back and directing from afar.... cause it sounded like he was sitting down in a command room and organizing it. Is that in the newest Codex? I don't remember the whole story (will reread later), but he definitely fought on the front lines towards the end of the battle, because he beat up the Avatar. -B Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/154096-the-old-wolf/page/2/#findComment-1798473 Share on other sites
Gondlir the Wandbearer
Interesting. In the designer notes for Ulrik it says that he was Logan and Ragnars friend and mentor... I would've thought he would have to be older than Logan for that to be the case. Unless they meant logan's friend and Ragnars mentor ;) My thoughts exactly. Maybe Ulric the wolf guard led the Blood Claw pack that Logan was a part of, after which Logan made a meteoric rise through the ranks much like Ragnar's currently doing? How much is known of Grimnar before he became great wolf, anyway? Other than that Ulric was apparently his friend and/or mentor? (And yeah, Bjorn is the oldest and awesomest of them all.) Ulrik is one of our wisest advisors we have. And a wise leader like Logan will listen to his trusted advisors. Vash113
Well simply put who has actually led the Imperium's forces in the largest campaigns of late? Calgar? Heck no. Logan Grimnar led the Imperial forces during the 13th Black Crusade, and the 1st War for Armageddon against the Daemon Primarch Angron himself. Calgar on the other hand... Plus Logan Grimnar makes Calgar look positively young, though admittedly Dante has them both beat by quite a few years.
