Blood Angels Assault Squad

Hi all,

I just finished uploading these to the new Dakka Gallery, which I highly recommend, and I wanted to post them here for some feedback... The Assault squad is a basis for how I'm planning on my whole army looking... weathered Marines with scenic rubble-strewn warzone bases. The only thing I haven't done yet is the script on the purity seals, as I haven't decided how to do them yet and don't want to muck them up. Let me know what you all think, and feel free to ask any questions!

I'll post a highlight set here, and the rest can be seen in my new Dakka Gallery, where I'll be setting up shop for a good long time. You can see much larger pics of the whole squad in the Gallery as well.

These are awesome. Love the comic book style paint job. very well done.

They look ace. You have used a very old skool powerfst, thus doubling the ace-ness.

We want- More pics of the chaplain and a larger pic of the squad.

Then the weekend will be complete.

Some really nice effects like the weathering, gems and the burnn-effect on the jump-pack. But what's with the manga-sized lenses on the helmets?

 

Other than that, I really dig them :tu:

Thanks for the comment... admittedly the lenses on some of the figures came out a little large... some of the plastics were on their second or third paint job, and the stripping process has started to get to them, and the definition around the eyes is one of the areas that gets fudged easily, so on some of the figures I was just winging it.
