guinness drinking dwarf
Howdo After taking inspiration from some cool looking iron clad posts I've managed to throw mine together. I think the legs still need beefing up as he looks a little top heavy, but I'm happy so far. C and C welcome as always. http://i153.photobucket.com/albums/s221/guinnessdrinkingdwarf/dadswed025.jpg[/img] http://i153.photobucket.com/albums/s221/guinnessdrinkingdwarf/dadswed027.jpg[/img] Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/154222-iron-wolf/ Share on other sites
Brother Vespasian
Are you sure the hammer is big enough? ;) Very nice even with the smallish hammer. Beornling 3.1415
It looks like there's a chaos symbol on that dread??? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/154222-iron-wolf/#findComment-1799653 Share on other sites
Master Toddius
I think the DCCW arm is very inventive and has alot of cool character to it. The proportion of the arm to the rest of the dread is a little off. However if you made the legs an inch or two longer the proportions would equal out a little better IMHO. I know the point of the arm is to be a little over-the-top and I can appreciate it, but right now its gone a tad too far. Other than that I totally support you in the direction you're going with this. :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/154222-iron-wolf/#findComment-1799662 Share on other sites
guinness drinking dwarf
A big thanks for all the C ans Cs so far. Made me laugh!! I've already started to chop and change the hammer....(dry fit thats why it looks wonky) http://i153.photobucket.com/albums/s221/guinnessdrinkingdwarf/sw005.jpg http://i153.photobucket.com/albums/s221/guinnessdrinkingdwarf/sw007.jpg What do you lot think?!! Yay or nay Also, I'm either going to bulk out the original legs or make some new ones from defiler bits. I'll post both later. Thanks again Gdd Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/154222-iron-wolf/#findComment-1800286 Share on other sites

guinness drinking dwarf
Hello again. Just a quick update. I've shortened the hammer stock again and managed to get the legs sorted. Justed extended and beefed up the dreads in the end as the scatch built ones were looking far far to big. (them and the first hammer, must stop getting carried away!!). http://i153.photobucket.com/albums/s221/guinnessdrinkingdwarf/sw010.jpg http://i153.photobucket.com/albums/s221/guinnessdrinkingdwarf/sw008.jpg http://i153.photobucket.com/albums/s221/guinnessdrinkingdwarf/sw009.jpg Just need to wolf him up now when my FW stuff gets here. Thanks for looking. C and C as always Will post again pre-paint. Wolf89
I love what you've done guinness drinking dwarf. The little hints of chaos isn't a bad thing, especially considering armor/wargear taken from fallen enemies is a great thing... consider the Axe of Morkai... however if it's still really prominent I would just make some "cuts" through it as if wolves just scratching away at it to break it apart. I really like this dread, did you use defiler armor for the dreads legs? Trying to figure out what you used. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/154222-iron-wolf/#findComment-1804243 Share on other sites
