Thanks to 5th ed any of your units that meet the space requirements can jump in any of your Rhinos. Only restriction being they can't start the game in a rhino that doesnt belong to them. So posible things that could be done even if a bit mad 1) so i could have a squad of 20 and a rhino and say a squad of havoks in a second rhino advance as far as pos depoly havoks in position and send rhino to intersept the big squad then put the lot in the two rhinos as long as they stay together and advance? 2) still thinking of 2 as the ones i have so far are very far out Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/154368-rhino-rules/#findComment-1800279 Share on other sites
Ace of Gods
While it is possible and legit to have a rhino in a squad over 10, you are correct that you must wait till it gets down to 10 to embark onto the rhino. But having a squad of 20 in 2 rhinos is not allowed. The Rules in the book state: if every member of the unit is with the hatches, they can embark onto THAT vehicle. not, embark onto multiple vehicles. So as great as that does sound, its just not allowed. Rhinos dont follow or have any rules on them about staying in formation with each other with the troopps inside of them, so it just wouldnt work. It would be nice though. But in reality, having 2 squads of 10 man each, allowing multiple icons, and more special and/or heavy weapons, far outweighs one squad of 20 anyhow. It wouldnt really do you much good in the long run. Plus, it gives you 2 scoring units as opposed to 1. Thanks i though it would be incorrect i agree that 2 scoring is better than 1 i think what im trying is to inject a bit of chaos into what i do simply the people i will play are better than me as im a noob and so i wanted to try a bit of the unexpected and many people have said oh you must have 7PM's with 2 plas etc. i currently have 1 LR 2 Pred squad of havoks and 20 odd CMS and 3 or 4 bikes 1 for a HQ i think and Zero rhinos which i am told you need loads of Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/154368-rhino-rules/#findComment-1800303 Share on other sites
