Brother_Dan'l
I've finally started a SoB squad I've been meaning to add to my BA for years (god bless ebay) and could really use some help. I've got a Repressor and 9 Bolter armed Sisters. But my question is "What else do I need to allow them to spread the Emperor's Holy Wrath?", I assume I need a Sister Superior, but what else? Thanks, Brother Dan'l (closet nun luster since Sister Cantrell in 1st grade) ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/154376-adding-sisters-to-my-brothers/ Share on other sites
evilsponge
Welcome Brother_Dan, I hope you enjoy your nuns with guns ;) Well you don't have a full squad yet, since Sister squads come in minimum of 10. My suggestion would to next get yourself a sister superior and a sister with a heavy flamer, those two are a must. The superior lets you use faith, and the heavy flamer is just mean. Imagine using that bad boy(i mean girl) on some MEQs, roll a few 6's and that's AP1 with no cover save. When you get your sister superior kit her out with a Combi-flamer for the same reasons as above with the Book of St. Lucius for un-modified Ld checks. Imperator Mos
Depends on what you want them to do. For maximum flammage with the Repressor, you definately want a heavy flamer. I'm also partial to meltas. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/154376-adding-sisters-to-my-brothers/#findComment-1800478 Share on other sites
Brother_Dan'l
Thanks folks. I'm not really looking for them to fill any sort of gap in my Blood Angels, just to make a squad that does "the SoB thing" really well. Sort of the prototypical 10 women squad. I guess they'll mostly hold objectives. The heavy flamer is a favorite of mine so that sounds good. Anything else? Inquisitor Fox
The "classic" Sister of Battle squad would be 10 sisters, including the following: 1 with heavy flamer, 1 with meltagun, 1 imagifier (with simularcrum imperialis or girl with funny stick thing), 1 veteran sister superior with book of saint lucius, usually armed with eviscerator (I do mine with power weapon and bolt pistol). The Repressor is a fundamentally awesome vehicle for transport. Add frag and krak grenades to taste. This is a basic squad that should be able to handle multiple roles upon the tabletop. jakehunter52
Brother Dan'l (closet nun luster since Sister Cantrell in 1st grade) Thank you for sharing with us Dan'l....who else wants to share? No one? Oh you there, what would you like to say? http://fc51.deviantart.com/fs36/f/2008/261/4/6/romantik_by_Mr_Culexus.jpg Welcome to Inquisition, where you can never be wrong. Blood Angels eh? I was thinking that when I finally get around to having a SM army, it would be them. Well, first I would ask what kind of force do you run? Assault heavy? Mech? Maxing out on infantry? It's important because I want to be able to give suggestions to how you can best incorporate you SoB into your army, whether they would make better front-line troops or stubborn objective holders. Also, as more a general point, if you want to have significant influence on the SoB behalf, then take a Cannoness. She provides a great source for faith and really is an enabler of this portion of the army. Past that though depends on the type of army you run, so get back to me, eh? Melissia
To use the Repressor, you'll have to have the appropriate Imperial Armor book. You'll probably want a heavy flamer/meltagun combo, or a heavy flamer/flamer combo and then a combi-melta. I know some people might advocate an Eviscerator, but I'd rather do whatI can to keep my models out of an assault when playing Sisters. Melissia
Blood Angels are also descended from the only primarch that was declared a Saint, and have proven their loyalty over ten thousand years.
