Wolf89
FAQ says you cant unless your a wolf guard "battle" leader , see the difference ? You're half wrong and half right, for GH's, you can have a TDA WGPL lead them no problem, just not BC's, if you wanted a TDA to lead BC's it has to be an IC (as you mentioned a WGBL). He already answered his own question, no need to confuse the pups any further. Growler67
I think the general rule is that you cannot mix armor values within squads. There are exceptions like taking Logan with fenrisian wolves in his retinue. I await further clarification as I am just getting back into 40K. deedark
Thought to TDA thing with BC's was because it stopped them doing a sweeping advance? D. Guys, first of all, you CAN mix armor values in a squad, you always could, you just use the new allocation rules instead of the mixed armor rule in C:SW. There is only 2 exceptions, first a WGPL in TDA cannot lead a BC squad, second, a WGPL in TDA cannot lead a space wolf scout squad. Grey Mage
Mixed armor values are even in the BRB. Those rules replace the ones in our codex, as per the FAQ.... though those previously gave as the ability to do so even in 3rd and 4rth. Also check out black templars, eldar aspect warriors, warlock/gaurdians, Captain in terminator armor/command squad in PA, mixed wolf gaurd squads...... How did you get the idea they couldnt be mixed? @Deedark: Yeah, its cause of sweeping advance... saves an argument and a headache.
