I know the pictures and minis aren't the greatest, but feedback is always welcome.

Thanks for the compliments.

@Ganuus: I do keep separate water pots, however, my five-year-old doesn't always remember which is which when he's painting and re-painting his Battle for Macragge Marines next to me, so occasionally I'll end up with something like that. Were I chasing a Golden Daemon, I might be more upset, but for now, I'm just happy he's showing an interest!

I like them – very characterful. The only thing I don't like is the use of the Ravenwing symbol on them. Just looks out of place in my eyes I'm afraid. I would look to the fantasy Empire shield emblem decals as a source for possible motifs.

Otherwise, great paintwork and a very nice Apoth conversion too.

Cheers

@Isiah -- The use of the Ravenwing symbol was intentional. According to the schema I created, standard battle-brothers are permitted to bear the chapter symbol of a griffin's wing. Veterans are permitted to wear robes and bear a sword on their shoulderpad. Those who prove themselves worthy (i.e. the 1st and 2nd Companies) are permitted to combine the two symbols. I figured with the Crimson Fists/Imperial Fists, Raptors/Mentors, and others with duplicate symbols, it shouldn't be too big of a problem.

@Grand Master Belial -- They look very much like the Disciples of Caliban. According to my fluff, they are descended from the DoC and simply changed their heraldry. I did this because I loved the color scheme and background for the DoC, but I hated the chapter symbol. It also has the added benefit of making my chapter safe from a GW retcon.
