HIMSA
I'm really getting the ball rolling with the BA force I have resurrected... I've realised I can finally afford all those things I once wanted so much! I'm trying to inject a sense of personality to each squad or character, so without further ado, here they are: Veteran Tactical Squad "Perolius" http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h231/benjaminboomstand/PC080514.jpg Basically just some nicer models that feature elsewhere in the force. Tactical Squad "Infernus" and dedicated Rhino transport "Scilican" http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h231/benjaminboomstand/PC080506.jpg Brother "Leonardus" http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h231/benjaminboomstand/PC080524.jpg Venerable Brother "Hellion" http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h231/benjaminboomstand/PC080529.jpg And finally, my first real attempt, ever, at GS sculpting... I don't really like and of the Chaplain models available, so I'm scratch building one... Brother Chaplain "Vargus" http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h231/benjaminboomstand/PC100540.jpg So, what d'ya think? HIMSA
Thanks for the comments! I don't like the Chaplain models, A) because the poses are a bit strange and :teehee: I HATE the crozius sculpts... They are horribly disproportionate and don't loot at all deadly. PS. That bit of wire you can just about make out on the chaplain is going to be a severed spine. My Blood Angels are VERY blood thirsty, suspiciously so. Commissar Molotov
Perhaps I'll see these in the local GW! They're looking very cool thus far. Coltaine
The dark shading of your Angels looks superb & offers an interpretation to Blood Angels not often shown much in painting. The dark, aggressive feeling is how I percieve them, and yours look it. Bravo. The way you are using special models for Sgt's makes the overall feeling of the squads as bieng more heroic, something i also am doing. King Tiger
the darker red actually does something I though impossible for all time, it makes Blood Angels actually look good <_< Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/154603-blood-angels-army-so-far/#findComment-1803999 Share on other sites

HIMSA
I've done a load of work on the chaplain this evening... Wow... who would've thought a spine was so hard to sculpt? Hulkey
These are great, I love the red Bright shiny clean armour always seemed silly to me, thats why I'm happy with my Imperial Fists not being properly yellow. The patchyness of mine, makes 'em look more realistic. Your's are not patchy, just awesome Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/154603-blood-angels-army-so-far/#findComment-1805218 Share on other sites

I'm putting effort into my ICs but the rank and file are being painted quickly but as neatly as I can...
