Nefarious Chaos Schemers Wanted

Okay, so I have developed my loyalists and my renegades side by side, and, despite my best efforts, they are growing apart. Just like any evil overlord, I have embraced chaos whole heartedly. I started with HB havocs and regular marines, I didn't want things to get too out of hand with chaos.

 

Then I got my hands on an obliterator and everything changed. I probably should never try crack, because that one obliterator was like that one guitar in Jukebox Hero. All I could do was build obliterators at that point. Then I won a tourney and the only thing I could think to get was a soul grinder to convert to a defiler (I think the regular defiler looks goofy), and my chaos army was well underway.

 

the problem is that I know where they started (loyalists) and I know where they're going (to found the City of Stone on Malfeas, far from the Imperium), but I don't know where they are.

 

Some things I'd like to include:

-The appearance of the Daemon Prince Balsephon to Lord Charosian (the warband master) they play many games of regicide and plan and plot many things, which is why the warband heraldry is the chess knight.

 

-What Charosian doesn't know is that one day, he will become the Daemon Prince Balsephon (and will presumably go back in time during the final days of the galaxy to see himself as he was).

 

-The discovery of the lost planet of Malfeas, trapped in a bizarre gravitic cycle between two stars (think of a covalent molecular bond) large ships cannot get near it and cannot detect its position. Maybe in a nebula, I don't know.

 

-The influence of the Slaaneshi Sorcerer Kalstanian (all names of the original loyalists are Armenian), the Fell Chronicler. This was a librarian from the Angels Praenuntius (loyalist, the former chapter of the Knights) whose name was reviled for his defection to chaos hundreds of years ago. Kalstanian turned to chaos during Charosian's novice years, so he has no way of knowing that Kalstanian is long dead and the Fallen Dark Angel named Elemiah has used the name of his old student to infiltrate the warband. For what purpose, I don't know yet.

 

So what did Charosian do to become a Daemon Prince? Some notes:

-He hates the Ordo Hereticus for its corruption

-He loves regicide (chess)

-He is hundreds of years old, and though he would never admit it, he is tired of war, yet terrified that without it, his life will mean nothing.

-Has no chaos mark, though he commands some cult troops

 

Any suggestions would be helpful.

you seem to know all the waypoints along the road so it shouldn't be hard for you to play dot to dot and draw lines between the dots until you have a complete picture, knowing that you have made all the fluff for your force will be far more satisfying than just copy pasting fluff written for you
