Epic Victory for the Wolves

Gather round brothers, the mead is cold the the food is hot and theres plenty of wood for the fire. Today was a glorious day for the wolves of Wolf Lord Branmaw. For they meet today on the field of battle a rogue marine army that was colored red. However these were not our blood thister brethern but the vanilla kind.

 

It was a mighty battle with plenty of warriors. 2000 points to be more exact. On this day Branmaw was in charge of many warriors among them the Venerable Dreadnaught Liegun, his twin Battleguard Ulrik, the ancient Rune Priest known only as he old man. An ancient Land Raider Redeemer, a noble vindicator, as well as the long reaching gaze of the whirlwind Asgard, and sturdy razorback with a mighty lascannon

 

Of his squads were 3 grey hunters 2 of which would drop from the sky and a pack of blood claws. of the grey slayers they were packed to the brim with weapons of all types from the blazing plasma to the mighty fist and power weapon.

 

among his employ was the wolf scouts Gerde, Ferde, Derde, Lerde armed with melta weapon and plasma led by wolf guard Braden and his mighty hammer mljoiner.

 

The mission was to ANNIHILATE the enemy at the DAWN OF WAR.

 

with quick thinking branmaw deployed his land raider filled with blood claws as far forward as possible and placing an empty razorback with in the near by woods.

 

gaining the initiatvie the wolves surged forward while a drop pod dropped from the sky right into the vicinity of both of his tactical squads and razorbacks as well as his chapter master. the land raider surged forward 12 inches and launched forth the bezerker squad of blood claws and branmaw!

 

mean while far behind them Liegun the vindicator, and the whirlwind raced forward with might asgard letting loose a salvo of rockets blasting the enemy positions before the charge and howling of wolves. the grey hunters having hurlted through the atmosphere took up firing positions and hurled mighty bolts of plasma at the enemy dropping 5 of the blights upon the astartes name.

 

mean while no more then 15 paces away branmaw and his pack of blood claws charged forth and laid low the enemy, branmaw himself slaying 3 of his foes while the enemy took none in return, however the blood claws in their head strong charge took the remaing 4 marines screaming to their graves.

 

as they consolidated more and more of the enemy advanced. Coming from the depths a decadent and decrepid Lascannon annihaltor, disgraced whirlwind, a shambling dreadnaught, while a mewing and quaking squad of devastors and scouts crawled forth while the smog spweing jump packs of assault marines charged forth. amid these squads walked a coward of a librarian who thought himself safe within his tactical dreadnaught armour.

 

firing what they could and doing their worst the chapter master called forth a mighty strike from above on to Liegun, but low their shot was off only damaging the fire mechanism with in his mighty lascannon. despite this good luck the predator scored a lucky and chaos driven hit destroying the land raider! what dirty treachery!

 

hen with a charge the foolish assault marines charged the blood claws and mighty branmaw who slayed 4 of them for their foolishness and the blood claws dragged the other and dispatched him with a mighty fist of power!

 

 

 

within the begining of the attack the opponents razorback was stunned, 20 enemy marines were dead with only 3 blood claws and the defiant land raider knocked out.

 

with a ferocity unmatched another pod of grey hunters dropped from the skys while the brothers of gerdi and balden and mighty mjolnier came from behind the enemy!

 

the freshly arrived grey hunters quickly dispacthed the treacherous predator hurling half a dozen plasma bolts at its weaked rear armour.

 

the coward of a librarian was quickly dispatched by balden's hammer while the bloodened grey hunters dispatched the chapter master with another hail of plasma while branmaw whittled down the enemy in numerous battles.

 

with the enemy quickly falling to the might of the wolves it was not but a matter of time until his entire army capituled ending in vicious gun battles between a grey hunter squad and the legion of the damned. Amid the churning battle mighty liegun charged the enemy dreadnaught and dispacthed it handly crushing the sarcophigus.

 

although it pains us to say in the battle many warriors were wounded among them the blessed rune priest the old man numerous battle brothers from the sky wolves who took the brunt of the enemies opening fire power, the mighty vindicator who was dispatched before he could bring his destructive cannon to bear

 

however in the end the wolves won a major victory epically destroying 10 of the enemies vital units to his 3; 2 of which were the destruction of vital heavy support and the old man himself
