Mr Peon
I was looking over things and I cant see where it says that you can drop pod them. but also the only 2 transports that are specifically listed as not being able to be entered by terminators are the rhino and razorback. so I guess my question is can you put 6 terminators in a drop pod, and also can you put IC's that are in terminator armour and attached to a squad that is not in terminator armour, into a drop pod? do they count as 2 units or one in there? eyescrossed
No, you cannot put termies in a drop pod, and why would you? They can teleport. Yes, you could put a character in termie armour in a drop pod, and he'd just count as 2 models. Mr Peon
Well I would use a drop pod so that you can get 50% of them to land on the first turn, and so you can be sure not to get a mishap for landing. also the extra weapons, and LOS blocking that the drop pod gives can be helpful as well. nighthawks
C:BA termies can ride in a pod, but still count as 2 models each and that pod has a cap of 10 still (or 5 TDA), so no attached ICs. agreed otherwise. maniclurker
This all depends on what dex you're using. In codex BA and DA, you apparently can. However, in the 5e SM dex, terminators are not listed as a unit that can take a drop pod. HiveFleetEzekial
No, only BA (and maybe SW.. telporter fear and all) can. We DA are stuck out of that too. Besides, we have our own (the original) version of DPA, Deathwing Assault, that does the same thing, without the use of a pod.
