I used this picture for ideas for skin and robe color. The head was made red because it's more of a red color than black in the game. He's fat because his fluff is that he was an Ogryn that joined the Emperor's Children during the Horus Heresy. I wouldn't say he's non-muscular though. Look at those arms and those glutes ;).

oooh er. I always feel like im kicking a puppy when I say this about a mini....

Definitely needs improvement. Looks very messy...poor quality job. Nice GS-fu though. The color scheme needs work as well. I realize you were trying to stick to the original, but it looks as if you chose two colors and just SLATHERED them on liberally with no care.

*feels like a right GIT.*

Sorry :D

PS> I love the noise marine if its any consolation!

I'm afraid that I'm going to have to go with the guys who're saying that the colors on the model are too simple, though I'll also confess that I'm a rabid Silent Hill fan and would love to see this miniature become everything that it could be.

Take a look at this, from the games rather than the movies:

One of the biggest elements of that game is the light and shadow work, combined with the ambient sounds and atmospherics. Pyramid Head is no different. If you want to be true to the original material, then he needs darker boots and a lighter robe with some highly visible staining, weathering, and unmentionable, horrifying grime that makes people not even want to even think about the source. The blade should be more metallic with patches of rust and gore highly visible against the pitting metal. I don't know how hard it would be to carve into the molding on his head some, but I would make the work there just a touch more complicated, then shadow and highlight that area some more. As it is, he looks flat everywhere but the muscles.

That could just be the images, but it's what I'm getting on my end.

Don't give up. I think this could end up as a good model, but it needs work.
