Drizzt1985
Hi, Ive finished my first two tactical marines for my new DIY chapter. PLs have a look and let me know what ya think. I know they are simalar to smurfs but they are meant to be as they are aspriring to be like them. The symbol on the pads is the UM symbol but upside down to represent Omega. Sigismund Himself
Hey Drizzt, if you want to show off your painting, the PCA subforums are probably the better place to post. We're more concerned with the fluff here  All I can say is that looking at it, thinning your paints down a little more may help a bit. Some more depth to the model would be good. This is done by using washes and highlights. One final point would be to crop and resize your pictures a little before you post them as they seem to be quite big. Dejay
Not bad, as said previously i would thin down your paints a little, and maybe use some inks for shading too. OwenCrute
Try to make your paint about as thick as milk, I think is the standard. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/155215-omega-lords/#findComment-1813301 Share on other sites
Shortsonfire79
Try to make your paint about as thick as milk, I think is the standard. I try to go a TAD thicker..like..milk..thats been sitting out for half a day? I'm lazy and I can't STAND waiting for stuff to dry, and when I have to do 8 layers just to get opaque results... oh man... milk is good, it what most people say. You just have to experiment and see what you like best. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/155215-omega-lords/#findComment-1813421 Share on other sites
Merkava
Try to make your paint about as thick as milk, I think is the standard. That would be for airbrushing ;) I hate mixing so what I do is have clean water, place paint on brush and give it a quick dip in the water till the blob is gone and the brush is pointy again. Remember alot of thin layers is better than one thick one. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/155215-omega-lords/#findComment-1813912 Share on other sites
drizzt73
They look pretty good, my only critique is that the paint looks a little thick but that could be because of the flash and the shinnyness(SP). Nice name by the way! Cheers Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/155215-omega-lords/#findComment-1816491 Share on other sites
