Crayfish
Hello there peeps! I'm new to this forum but I've surfed it from time to time (some really great armies around here!) Well, I have recently painted a SM for an upcoming squad (this model will not be included in the squad he is a "test marine") altough, i have a hard time finding the right chapter name for them, the colorscheme is done but the name is not, if you have any suggestions post them! CMON link Anyways, it was extremly fun doing this model, i look forward doing more of them! Also it was the first time i did scraped of paint which was extremly fun, also a first OSL on the eyes! And if you decide to vote, drop of a comment! I would be extremly happy to know what you think, either on this forum or on CMoN ! Greetings from sweden! Pyriel
Looking cool dude. I never weather my minis but recently I have been thinking about it. Seeing you being good at it could you give some hints on how you do it and maybe how you would weather a green painted mini? CaptainForge
I rather like the look. I'm not easily impressed with battle damage or weathering effects, but for some reason I like it here. The eyes bother me a bit though. I think you were trying for that glowing effect, if so you might one to brighten it just a bit more toward the center parts of the eyes with fading out to the helmet. He has to look of being in the thick of battle with gore and blood splattered. Or either he got dropped on you palette. Starbuck_
I really like the weathering you've done on teh model and as a show piece I think it superb. Although I cannot help but wonder whether or not it would be too much for a whole army to be weathered to that extent. That said I love it. EDIT: I reminds me of the Imperial Fists with the Yellow and Red Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/155257-first-post-a-space-marine/#findComment-1812857 Share on other sites
