Tigrinus
I was recently playing against an Eldar player in a 1500 pt match. Long story short, I kicked the stuffing out of him. It was, however, a close match for the first few turns, owing to his two Farseers. Now my question is this: can a Farseer use his psychic powers while inside a transport vehicle? I looked it up in the BRB, and couldn't find anything that says they can't. I know that this isn't an Eldar forum, but does anyone know about the particulars? Souchan
First page of the main rulebook FAQ has the answer you seek. Top right of the page. This is a further extrapolation of the rule on page 66 of the main rulebook which already covers how this works. Hope that helps :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/155291-need-help-vs-eldar-pyskers/#findComment-1813415 Share on other sites
Mordekiem
There is no reason that you cannot use a psychic power while in a transport. There are limitations, though, such as needing a fire point for powers with LOS. However, most eldar powers do not require LOS. And before you ask you measure range for the powers from the vehicles hull. ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/155291-need-help-vs-eldar-pyskers/#findComment-1813834 Share on other sites

Besides, to each his own. You answer them how you want to and I will answer them how I want to. :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/155291-need-help-vs-eldar-pyskers/#findComment-1814254 Share on other sites

Tigrinus
I hadn't thought to look in the BRB FAQ until it was mentioned. And yes, I am also an Eldar player and do own their codex, but it didn't say anywhere in there that Farseers could or could not use powers while in a transport. Just said that they don't have to have a line of sight for some of them. I presumed that this meant that my Eldar opponent in the mentioned battle could, in fact, use his powers. The shooting powers, on the other hand, do require LOS, and since Eldar transports don't have any fire points, those can't be used. I just wanted clarification, for my own benefit! :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/155291-need-help-vs-eldar-pyskers/#findComment-1822139 Share on other sites
