nordy
Best Iron Hands i've ever seen. The Techmarine Sgt. and on top of all the iron father are incredible. The conversions are nothing but flawless. The basemodeling is perfect. The most amazing part of your painting is the flesh. It looks so real it's just stunning (I swear your first Sgt. looked at me through my monitor!) Bannus
Stellar - as usual, Rev. I really like your take on the Tornado with the twin guns under the nose. I may have to "borrow" that one. :P Any more picks of the Razorback? Bliggs
These are gorgeous! You've really captured the spirit of 40k. How do you do your snow? I've been struggling to get mine to look less flat and more... well, fluffy. revmatt
These are gorgeous! You've really captured the spirit of 40k. How do you do your snow? I've been struggling to get mine to look less flat and more... well, fluffy. No probs. They key is to paint the base adeptus battlegrey before you do anything. Then I do pva and a dip in snow, let it dry. then another PVA dip in snow then dry. I then mix PVA with snow and apply in clumps with a brush. Takes a while but worth it. I use woodlands scenics snow, but don't think it matters what kind you use, its how you apply it. cheers rev Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/155618-revs-iron-hands/page/3/#findComment-1975701 Share on other sites

Corsair
Everything you have done with this army is just wonderful, from the modelling to the painting. It may seem minor, but I really love the slight blue present in the symbol; there is something about it and the snow bases that just makes these guys FEEL like Iron Hands, I guess it's that frozen, dead feel that matches their flesh. Love them. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/155618-revs-iron-hands/page/3/#findComment-1983686 Share on other sites
Ominous Anonymous
How did you do the metals? I'm guessing Boltgun with several large helpings of Badab Black and Devlan Mud?
