I dont like it. I dont like that I can only have 9 GH+ a Wolf Gaurd for instance. The 0-1 Limit on most any HQ.... or that I didnt see the retinue rule, though I may have missed that. Why did you call the WGBG's "Wolf Blades"? ......

Its probly closer to what theyll do to our dex then what I came up with, but I just really dont like the format or some of the choices you made.

That being said, I do appreciate that you took the time to make this and will say that it does look sound.

Ok,

here's the stuff I don't like or would change:

-WS 7 is a bit high even for a Space Wolf

-Grimnar at 250 is still a bit too pricey.

-Rage for Ragnar - I think he's come to terms with his inner wolf and shouldn't be subject to Rage anymore - he is after all a wolf lord.

-Like what you did for Ulrick/Wolf Priests - but I think they should have some apothecary rules (FNP)

-Bjorn the Fell handed - should have armor of an Ironclad (at least), the Fell DCCW should be able to purchase flamer, some kind of special rule: Titanic Might, or Legendary Leader, etc

- Wolf Lord's guard being taken as a Troop Choice I like

- What is Svern the Hunter? A Wolf Guard upgrade for a pack? - Ok, found it. My bad.

- I think the Wulfen Pack cost is a bit too high - no more than 20pts per model (because they can't shoot)

- I really like the Thunderbringer character and what he brings to the assault pack. But the wolf pelt attack should not be in the profile as it is a wargear and has it's own specific ruling (i.e. counter attack bonus) and would confuse/cloud the ruling elsewhere in the army. But give him a WTN.

I'm sure there is more - but that is a first stab.

But like I said, good job. I"m digging it. :D

Ok,

here's the stuff I don't like or would change: there is my exponation of the choices i made

-WS 7 is a bit high even for a Space Wolf

well remember that space wolf character has always had 1 more that the other marine commanders on the WS

-Grimnar at 250 is still a bit too pricey.

Yes, I know i think it is pricey 225 i think might be a much better price for him.

-Rage for Ragnar - I think he's come to terms with his inner wolf and shouldn't be subject to Rage anymore - he is after all a wolf lord.

I just have put the equivalent rule that hi has on the SWC from 3ed

-Like what you did for Ulrick/Wolf Priests - but I think they should have some apothecary rules (FNP)

Fang of morkai is a narthecium MY BAD

-Bjorn the Fell handed - should have armor of an Ironclad (at least), the Fell DCCW should be able to purchase flamer, some kind of special rule: Titanic Might, or Legendary Leader, etc

the Ironclad armor sounds Good for me, and a special rule also, but that might sky high the price.

- Wolf Lord's guard being taken as a Troop Choice I like

is not the Bodyguard whom comes to be troop is the Elite Choice.

- What is Svern the Hunter? A Wolf Guard upgrade for a pack? - Ok, found it. My bad.

GOOD

- I think the Wulfen Pack cost is a bit too high - no more than 20pts per model (because they can't shoot)

I just copy the apocalypsis costs.

I'm glad you like it, keep giving me feedbacks

Aside from the Some options/special rules/unit composition/profiles that I disagree with slightly, there are some major flaws in my mind:

Bloodclaws should stick to Jump Packs - Grey hunters bikes. (Fluff wise made more sense to me.)

Scout Bikes are missing.

Ironpriest should be able to take artillery.

It's missing Grey Slayers and Storm Claws - Which I really think should be in the codex.

Those are some major differences in my mind. I've thought about sitting down and writing one but, it's not really worth it as you won't play it much, if at all even if it is balanced and done well.

I do think you have some good Ideas I hadn't thought of though.

I don't know what to make of it.

Some things:

I would change the Bloodclaw jumppack into Stormclaw Jumppack, (rage exchanged with Heroic intervention) it seems more Fiting.

Logans Legendary leader could be switched with Inspiring.

Wolfguard the optin of taking Scout move (removing the need of Legion of the damned) This also adds a bigger 13th co element to it (again in exchange for Legion of the damned).

Wulf lord as an upgrade for the normal Wolflord.

please dont use rapid share...................its really  .........i cant even download it

Its one of your irst posts so i'm not giving a real warning, just this, please DO NOT by pass the swear filter, just use an icon for it, Max_Dammit

-Rage for Ragnar - I think he's come to terms with his inner wolf and shouldn't be subject to Rage anymore - he is after all a wolf lord.

I really hope that he still has his berserker charge - He is the youngest WL after all.

In book two. Rangar finds out that he's not immortal after all - Thats why he's not headstrong. He still is a man with a nice temper/Viking Power.

I would love if we also could get furious charge :o

I play very balanced army's. But my assault is still my big finisher

I'm really pleased with this, I'm not going to lie if nothing changed from what you just shared with us and GW took it and made it into a codex, I would have a joygasm for sure. This is by far something I could see GW doing and it's not at all bad news for us. We still have lots of the flexibility for weapon choices, but are limited enough that other's stop crying. Our HQ's are finally where they need to be (especially special characters). Logan needs to stay at 250, he's perfect there, 225 is being cheese for certain (remember he can have 4 fenrisian wolves that Calgar can't... it makes him so much more powerful).

Only thing that I know is an error is the fenrisian wolves... armour 5+?! it's a 6+ and I don't see it being 5+...

Again, you could not change a thing, send it in to GW and I would see them using it.

(Legion of the damned, however it fits, I don't see many wolf players using them :o )

This made my day, thank you.

Is that site asking me to pay??? I don't care how good the rules are, I'm not paying for a homebrewed proxy list.

If I don't have to pay...The site won't let me download. This is just ;)

everyone has download this for free, which you should do it easily, just put free download and you only have to wait for 60 sec before having the document, by the way, those things that i have written are proctected by GWS copyrights so i would never dare to have any profit from such work, but actually i would love to hear about a job proposition :P. Who wouldn't.

Thanks to you guys, I just thought what is the best we can get in this edition without being cheezie so I'm glad you like it, I also hope GW like it too.

so you can always play it on house rules, it is a nice playable codex i think, sadly it is only product of my mind and no playtest, i would love to see if it works in table if any of you try it, please let me know how does it works.

THANKS EVERYONE

Eh, I think it's ok.

I'd rather see Wolf Guard Ranulf (The Wolf Guard who can move a Land Raider with his bare hands) and Sternhammer (hey, why wouldn't they make Special Rules for an existing model?) than these new special characters that you've made.

I really liked Sternhammer and he brings back the 2nd ed wargear "Pelt of the Wulfen" (essentially gives him night sight to shoot him).

I know some people like those new guys that you've created, but I think it's more likely that they revive one of the 2-3 named Wolf Guard from 2nd ed than create entirely new ones (also, I wouldn't be surprised if they nixed flying blood claws altogether).

I don't think Wulfen will be elites. Barring some HUGE change in the fluff, Wulfen will be a special unit (probably one that can only be taken if one takes a Wulfen Lord or maybe Sternhammer). I honestly think they'll divide the list up in some way with the 13th company. Fenrisian Wolf packs will probably be 0-1 unless taking a 13th Co. army. I really wonder how they'll do this... I feel like it would be a lot of work to add the 13th co army list (even if it would only take a few pages). Probably a Wulfen Lord will give you a different force org chart. Maybe limit choices to the current 13th Co. choices + Sternhammer and just give everyone +1A and Scouts (though I'd love to see MotW stay)

As to the High WS, I think it makes perfect sense. The mentor ability gives +1WS and Chapter masters now have WS6, so why wouldn't they have WS7? In 2nd edition, pretty much all SWs were WS 5+ (which was 1 more than pretty much any other SM chapter)

In any event, it does look pretty close to what it'll be.

Last note - No old and Wise for Venerable Dreads!! This was essentially stolen from Kyrl Grimblood (my favorite 2nd ed char). Bring him back or drop the rule!
