djkest
Hey guys, So a couple weeks ago I placed an order with my LGS to get the Chaos Doombringer Annilation Force. Now it was hard to track down, the only place I found that stocked it was GW, and they were going to charge me $110 with shipping and tax for it. Now, even then, it would have been an OK deal, but meh. If you don't know, the DAF is a boxed set containing a Chaos Termi Lord/Sorc and 15 terminators. It is $170 worth of stuff, but since it's a plastic set, and all that stuff seperately is overpriced, it was selling for $90. My LGS informed me not only could they order it, but that it would be only $80.99. So 2 weeks later my order came in. Much to my surprise, it wasn't what I expected. Apparently, GW stopped making the box. So instead I got the retail box for the lord, and 3 seperate terminator boxed sets. Score! So it was a huge savings, and now I've got a large and flexible terminator contingent. I'm even thinking about magnetizing a bunch of them so that I can be even more flexible- if I can find the magnets. So far, I know I'm going to make all 9 "regular guys) with power weapons and combi bolters, maybe 10 cause I can steal parts from the lord kit. For 30 points you can't beat em. I'm also wanting at least 2 powerfist guys, 1 chainfist guy, 2 heavy flamer guys, and a bunch of combi-weapon guys. That's why I'll need magnets. Anyone else do this set? Any tips on magnetization? Zerib
On the tutorial forum on the main B&C page there are a few subjects. http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/index.p...c=154822&hl http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/index.p...c=115768&hl these are the ones I feel would be the most useful but just look up magnets on that forum. Hope that helps. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/155888-doombringer/#findComment-1821379 Share on other sites
