WolfLordLars
Damn, I was kinda hoping I was wrong on that as well.. that would be worth taking Long Fangs for (except in a razorback, for the extra firepower) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/155984-long-fangs-a-point-sink/page/2/#findComment-1824260 Share on other sites
clanfield
true they cannt fire if the transport moves but they do benifit from a mobile bunker and the abilty to redeploy very fast most foes hide there tanks from my long fangs it works very well razorbacks are ok but a rhino has the top hatch so they dont need to disembark just fire Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/155984-long-fangs-a-point-sink/page/2/#findComment-1825449 Share on other sites
Grey Mage
The thing is does your opponenent Know the long fangs are in there? Though frankly at that point your probly better off with a landspeeder. Theres not as much competition for FA slots and the multimeltas can turn up in suprising places after all. Still as an Eldar player I have a hard time with this. Whens the last time you saw dark reapers not making back their 230 odd points? And theyre a five man squad with a puny toughness of THREE and a 3+ save.
