Sandalphon
Woo it's done, thanks to everyone on the WIP for their input! :) using the blessed photoshop i made the PP and torso bigger and reduced the size of the helmet to make him a bit 'beefier' and i have to say im a lot happier with it now. oh and obviously it's now in colour! Firenze
Nice work. SHading isnt too bad for pencils. But if you have photoshop, why didnt you colour it on that? Sandalphon
Yeh i considered that but I spend too much time on the computer already lol, the pencils were watercolours so i might explore that option but i think im done with it now, the colour was a test but i was happy enough with the end result :D i might get back to it another time, thanks for the comments. demenhoth
agreed. If you actually spent the $600 for photoshop you might as well get your moneys worth and paint it in PS. Tyrannicide
I like him, the proportions on his right arm are a little off but hey, Space Marines are hard to draw. PLUGitIN
yeah, the angle on the sword is off and the feet aren't on the same level thumb needs to be curled round some more, and that same arm looks a little odd with the shoulder pad sitting as high as it is Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/156360-dark-angel-coloured-drawing/#findComment-1879267 Share on other sites
MEanBOb
Nice drawing overall. Great attention to detail. The plasma pistol and the robes give it the dark angle feel as well as the orange power sword. Its also very well shaded/ Of course the swords crooked *blah blah blah*. But I like my marines with large shoulderpads, yours seem a bit, whats the word, puny.
