DGC
Well here is the alterations I have weathered/scorched the A/C barrel, flamer tips and exhausts. Also repainted the A/C arm to lose the kill markings http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s47/DGC_album/Dreadnought%20wip/DSCN0449.jpg http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s47/DGC_album/Dreadnought%20wip/DSCN0448.jpg http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s47/DGC_album/Dreadnought%20wip/DSCN0447.jpg I have also added magnets to the arms and torso. As I had used steel washers to add height to the body and build the new arm joints this was really staight forward http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s47/DGC_album/Dreadnought%20wip/DSCN0452.jpg http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s47/DGC_album/Dreadnought%20wip/DSCN0451.jpg And the whole thing http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s47/DGC_album/Dreadnought%20wip/DSCN0450.jpg How does it look now?? Still unsure as to wether to paint any pack markings on the A/C arm as I spent over half an hour looking at it and contemplating and still I can't quite visulise anything in particular Any other C&Cs/additions/corections welcome before I carry on with Razorback?? WG Vrox
Yeah, I like the changes. As for the arm looks good as is, maybe an advertisement for Pepsi, jk only thing I could see there are runes of some type. I like GS raised runes, but transfere runes would work great. Tyrannicide
Well that's the coolest dreadnaught I've ever seen, and especially the best Space Wolves one. I like the weathering and additions you've made. :whoops: Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/156382-dreadnought-jager-wip/page/2/#findComment-1837605 Share on other sites
williamdelgray
Personally I think all runes need to be scratched in and glowing. But that's a whole 'nother story. Awesome model! AdrianG
What a gorgeous model, I'm suitably jealous :D Will look forward to seeing it complete and based. Wolf89
I really like this guy, makes me want to take my out of the old boxes and re-do the whole figure. I'm glad you got rid of the kill marks, I wasn't a fan, and frankly he should have his whole body covered in kill marks if he was any kind of venerable. ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/156382-dreadnought-jager-wip/page/2/#findComment-1837768 Share on other sites
DGC
Too bad about the Diorama, I saw the pics and I really liked the feel of it. But better luck next time, eh mate :DI must say you managed to capture motion really good with that Dreadnought, you can really feel him running and looking for the next thing to shoot. I like motion in dioramas, the few Space Wolves dioramas I've done always tried to capture that feral side of their movement, that charge into the enemy feeling. And you've done the same with this one. The wolves were awesome too, I hope you'll be able to complete it, or anything similiar, some day :) Espeacially for you TeamLando http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s47/DGC_album/Dreadnought%20wip/DSCN0534.jpg (for more pics http://www.thegamersguild.co.uk/forum/topi...IC_ID=1012#7269 ) I forgot the banner pole when I took the pics and then immediately transfered the GHs to their new bases so I am no longer able to take any new complete pics. After all the diorama was three + months overdue and I was finding it hard to keep the inspiration going, I just wanted the GHs useable in a game asap so jumped the gun a bit. Next time I must pick something easier or give myself much longer to complete something like this :whistling: Later - DGC Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/156382-dreadnought-jager-wip/page/2/#findComment-1926632 Share on other sites
