Dourine
So, reading this last sentence in the Vulnerable to Blast/template USR, 1 hit could turn into 4 wounds? Going by this, i shoot my weapon, score a hit on a critter, each hit counts as two hits, then each unsaved wound counts as two wounds. I really doubt they mean it this way...but they do use words hit and wound in two places, saying what to do with each. Brother Nihm
I think you missed a single word there: Some units are especially vulnerable to blast weapons and template weapons. If the unit is a vehicle, then each hit counts as two hits. If it is not a vehicle, each unsaved wound is doubled to two wounds ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/156874-vulnerable/#findComment-1834448 Share on other sites
Dourine
Guess i didn't see that. Don't have my book with me, i'll check later. Are there any vehicles that are vulnerable? GTang
That general rule was in 4th edition and was removed in 5th. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/156874-vulnerable/#findComment-1835123 Share on other sites
Seahawk
The only vehicles vulnerable now are those as stated in their codex; Open-Topped used to mean Vulnerable as well, but not anymore. rekrulcinam
I don't remember ever seeing a vehicle that was vulnerable to blasts. If some could tell me one, I'd like to have a look at this little anomaly of nature. Disistablishmentarianism
I don't remember ever seeing a vehicle that was vulnerable to blasts. If some could tell me one, I'd like to have a look at this little anomaly of nature. The race of orks springs to mind. Not that I can remember if any were actually vulnerable as described here. ^_^ Ramshackle. greatcrusade08
Open topped just means that passengers on board can be hit by blast weapons, they removed vulnerable a while back. SeattleDV8
You cannot target passengers open-topped or not. Once embarked you may only target the vehicle. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/156874-vulnerable/#findComment-1838414 Share on other sites

SeattleDV8
The only way you could affect the passengers is to destroy the vehicle. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/156874-vulnerable/#findComment-1838503 Share on other sites
