Hello Brothers :)

First, thank a loooot for your encouragement ^.^

I'm going to try answer questions :

As homerlaw :

How do you do your red? It's marvelous!

Mmm ... for the red (Marines, Raptors, Possessed) :

* Under-coat (?) with Chaos Black,

* Paint a base coat with Red Gore (very very thinned),

* Hightlight with Red Gore + Skull White

As Vet Sgt Ezekiel :

take it all your blending and main color work on all the minis is done with an airbrush?

Nah. I use an airbrush just for vehicules. But, I tryed on terminators and the Dark Apostle.

As Fausto2071 :

very awesome~the eyes and the robes are excellent~you should do a tutorial for them

For robes (again ... T_T ^.^) :

* Paint a base coat with Scorched Brown,

* Next, highlight with Graveyard Earth,

* Finally, Graveyard Earth + White.

As Obliterator :

The battle damage looks like actual damage in some of the shots, did you reach this purely by paint, or did you go at it with an X-acto knife?

Some damage battle was already sculpted like here. But yeah, I added a lot of damage battle by paint.

As tagsta :

amazing work on the titan! the first time ever that someone applied an authentic epic traitor legion scheme to one of the FW models.. very well executed

I would suggest to create really weathered banners with the legion symbol and a lot of twisted chaos symbols

anyways

keep up the good work! i can't wait to see more smile.gif

 thanks for advice. I think that on Bell of lost soul, we can download the banner. But I'm not sure for this legio :P

Normaly, pictures of dreadnoughts and Dark Apostle coming soon :)

Thanks a lot everyone again :)

Cheers,

Ladvic

This is killing me! Especially after seeing everyone else's reactions to the figures, I'm incredibly interested in seeing these word bearers, but all I can see are messages from the photo hosting service saying that the links have exceeded their bandwidth. Help a brotha out!

Hi brother ! I'm back ^^

Tomorrow, I will post new pictures of the Dark Apostle, and the Rhino.

I bought veterans MK 1 here and MK2 here but I will not use it B)

Have you any ideas for "tranform" them in Word Bearers ? Maybe in chosen, but my chosen have robes (religious, etc ...) :)

Good night !

Ladvic

Hey good painting job by the way but if you have some CSM figures that you are not using or are not painted try to paint them like this guy

GW also made a guide for that!:

Guide for Word Beares The Cool Way!

In my opinion they look ten times more NASTY :) :D

Thanks Iversen, but i don't like this colour schem' with brown trim.

Any ideas for transform those :) veteran ? ^^

i hate you :)

you have made me want to collect CSM when i am going to collect WoC

don't do that

but seriously well done :D i am loving it all

at first i wasn't sure on the Warhounds colour scheme (with the stripes) but you have done it well

good work

Athiair :teehee:

your warhound looks very well done its paint job is applied well but the paint scheme makes me think of remote control cars paintjobs, you represent the word bearers very well and i like your forge world chaos lord aswell.

P.S Well i fell down a well and my grammer didn't hold up very well, i only noticed my over use of the word on a 2nd glance

However, I must ask, why is your Titan yellow amongst red marines? It doesn't looks bad, but it er...doesn't match the rest of your Word Bearers.

Well titans have their own seperate colour scheme according to which Titan Legio they belonged too, Ladvic explained it earlier in the post;

The colour scheme is that of The Legio Flaming Skulls : Like here :

I have some ideas to convert the veterans.

1.You should change their backpack things into chaos ones.

2.Give them horns on their helmets.

3.Get rid of the no helmeted guys heads adn give them helmets ( personally i hate no helmet people ).

4.You wanted robes, their wearing tabards.

5.Put a chaosy symbol on their tabbard.

6.Kit bash with other kits such as posesed kit.

7.Give them 'spiky' stuff, like chaos stuff usually has.

:D Just some random ideas i had at the time

Just found this thread, but I was very impressed to see such fitting and well thought out conversions on your WB. The green lighting effects and robes in particular are well layered, giving the models depth and motion without overplaying it.

The cream of the crop here is your titan, though. That monster really catches the eye and makes itself known, it's probably one of the most bold and impressive paint schemes I've seen on a titan yet. It's certainly one of the best traitor titans in these forums, in my non-titan-owning opinion (that may change now, after seeing yours!).

Good show! :)
