Pipboy Posted January 13, 2009 Share Posted January 13, 2009 I've finally completed (mostly) the first Tac Squad. I think they turned out well enough. The green edging is a bit heavy, the black is sloppy and rushed and the green bases don't help but overall they're good enough. I'm also a bit disappointed at how the gold chest Aquila came out but I have to say that I do like how the ex-Chaos now Salamanders shoulder pads worked out. Don't rip on me too much - this is the first 28mm figure I've painted in 5 years or so. Next up is a close combat Scout Squad. I can't seem to post a photo so you'll have to check the blog. They will be finished to fit a cityfight table (that's not done yet). As far as the Black Reach Marines go - a Dremel makes a mess but the shoulders come off in a hurry.
