Einholt
Started on these last night, marine on the left is there for scale comparison, they will all be greenstuffed like the one that already is, what do you guys think of the scale / poses, look natural to you? http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e109/Einholt/PICT1110.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/157426-wip-truescale-imperial-fists/ Share on other sites
son of nocturne
Alrite bud, your fists look good but they are a litle bit lanky, the poses are absolutley fine. If you just put a GS or Plasticard ring round the waist band they would look good then! S.O.N. Einholt
Whats the best way to make a plasticard ring for the belt extension, just cant seen to think how I can do it, will the plasticard bend and hold with superglue if I use a thin strip? son of nocturne
Id say cut a bit of plasticard that is a bit thicker than the belt, tack it on one end with super glue, wait for the glue to fully set, then you should be able to ply the rest of the card round with ease but stick with super glue as it dries fast enough to hold it down. once thats done you can trim the belt down to the correct thinness and it should look fine! I had the same problem when I was building a couple of truescale marines. I used a couple of the Terminator groin guards to act as armour for the thigh. Just trim the piece on the back of the guard and glue in place. Sons of Horus
i can tell they're bigger but you should post a pic of them beside a normal marine.
