Nilsson
Recently I vowed the following; I, Brother Nilsson, vow on the honour of my Chapter to paint and present at least one captain and do the final touch up on his command squad, one ten man squad of tactical marines, finish my dreadnought, finish my sniper-scout squad and also finish my techmarine on or before the 28th of February, 2009. I promise to provide at least two WIP updates, preferably with pictures, in that time. I vow that if I should fail, I will provide the Librarium with an article and wear the Signature of Shame until my penitence period is done. Which then leads me to that I've forgot to take some WIP on some of my projects, though I can still provide atleast two WIP photos; and below here is an list on what is done and what is not. Red is not started, yellow is on the way and green is done, though I got to comment I am terribly at taking pictures of models, never learn the secrets so I'm sorry for the bad pics. Dreadnoght Command Squad Techmarine Scouts Tactical Squad Captain I'll start with my dread; though it's finnished sort off, still a few more things to add on it though. http://i379.photobucket.com/albums/oo238/nilsson112/mmmm008.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/157439-nilssons-wip/ Share on other sites

MEanBOb
I like the sideways marine shoulder pads. You can improve the quality of your painting though by lightening up on your dry brushing a bit and thinning out your paints. You also seem to need some thinner brushes for those details. Nilsson
Thanks for the tip, yeah I know regarding the thickness of my brushes, though my finedetail is currently .. well.. ancient, and I've really just not been able to buy a new one; and regarding the thiness of my Fortress Grey it is half-dry, though my store is out on Fortress Grey... :) though remember these are WIP not the finnish product, the details will (hopefully) be fine eventually, thanks for the reply though :( Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/157439-nilssons-wip/#findComment-1844742 Share on other sites
Azura
hmmm... i always wondered what side ways pads would look like and. and i must say they look great, they look really bulky and large. :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/157439-nilssons-wip/#findComment-1844912 Share on other sites

Nilsson
UPDATE:  Played with my Marines yesterday (won the game btw) and on the way back home, I thought I'd leave my car unlocked, I mean nothing have ever happend, so yeah I left my car unlocked and went into the local store to buy some food; got out; no car! So, basicly they stole my car and my Marines (and majority of my Imperial Guard) so I'm affraid I can't keep working with this Painting Challange; acually think they were not after my marines, just my car...
